I have no idea where the time has gone.
It doesn’t seem real that the last post I published here was back in February.
As usual, work continues to keep me busy; however, it hasn’t been overwhelmingly so. I’m tired, but the tired associated with working hard and maximum effort as opposed to the soul-crushing fatigue that once plagued me when my mental heath story was at its worst.
That said, I am looking forward to some much neededwntime. Lynn and I are off to our annual geek-fest in Calgary starting Wednesday. The Calgary Comic and Entertainment EXPO kicks off on Thursday afternoon.

Some guests I’m looking forward to seeing this year include Sam Rami, Jonathan Frakes, and Charlie Cox.
Otherwise, I’m just looking forward to disconnecting from work for a few days. For the first time since I started full time my emails are being forwarded to someone else and the office phone is being unforwarded to my cell for longer than 48 hours.
School is going ok, albeit intensely.
Currently, I’m still studying Poetry and Plays as one course; in April I started Natural Biology in Psychology as a second course which so far has been interesting, but quite heavy.
Looking towards May, it looks like I will be hitting the ground running when I get back into the office. There is a provincial election planned for the end of the month, as well as a couple of special sections and grad-season.
As far as my mental health goes, I don’t know that it has ever been better. I’m focused. I’m getting the sleep I need. I’m finding the time for a bit of exercise. And I’m waking up ready to hit the day head on without dread or trepidation.

Even my appointments with M have been back off again. At one point, I was in such rough shape mentally he made time to fit me into his schedule once every two weeks. As of our last session, we are droppimng down to once every three months.
I am grateful for everything I have going right at the moment; and I know I’ve gotten through everything thanks to God’s grace, the support of family and friends, and plenty of hard work and determination, for all of which I am grateful.
Thanks for following along.
Kevin
