I’m feeling better today than I have in awhile. I’ve definitely got more energy and the fatigue isn’t wearing on me quite as badly as it was.
Our church opened it’s doors for a Sunday service for the first time in months today, which was nice. One more piece of normal falling back into place.
The service today was definitely different, with a good portion of the congregation wearing masks. I know Lynn and I both wore masks today just because of the increased numbers of people we were around.
For the most part everyone in attendance followed the social distancing measures that were asked of them, which was nice to see.
We found out on Friday that our region has it’s first confirmed case of Covid-19, which is making the pandemic threat seem that much more real.
After church, we headed home for some lunch, then I tackled a long overdue project of cleaning out the car. It’s been on the radar for a while, I just hadn’t found the opportunity to actually get it done.
Work done, I spent the rest of the afternoon watching television with Lynn. We watched a couple of movies she had saved on the recorder, and then finished off watching the second season of Charmed.
I’m still feeling some tendrils of the fatigue that was gripping me, but I have to say that after spending a couple days away from work and school I feel like I’m getting some rest.
Unfortunately, all good things come to an end, and I need to get back at things tomorrow. My goal of getting my essay in by Friday still stands, and I have a couple of articles to write. In addition, I can’t even sleep in tomorrow with having to get blood drawn at 8:45 a.m. Oh well, it’ll give me a reason to get up and moving.
