Time to slow down and re-centre…

Trying to remain productive while the world is on lock down is a challenge.

There has not been much going on today. I spent some time on the Playstation, did some photo work, and took Rolo for a walk, just to get outside and stretch my legs. I also finished editing the video for Castor Little Theatre and sorted through nearly three months worth of emails, so I am managing to be somewhat productive.

I have some other projects that I do need to work on, though. I just have been having a hell of a time motivating myself to do them. I need to get back into my fiction piece that I was working on, because it has been months since I’ve touched it. It’s just a matter of forcing myself to make some time.

On the bright side, I am starting to push through the fatigue that has been plaguing me for over a week. Honestly though, the fatigue is worse than the actual symptoms I was exhibiting when I had the flu last week.

Tomorrow my plan is to get myself back into my usual up early routine, and get back working out and tracking my diet again. Other than that, I have a couple a council meeting tomorrow night, and another article to work on.

Otherwise, with everything being locked down due to the virus, this week is looking like it’s going to be fairly quiet. I’m guessing that this pandemic is Mother Nature’s way of getting a whole bunch of people to slow down and smell the roses.

I, for one, am going to take advantage of the downtime, and let myself relax and unwind, re-centering myself for when the virus does burn itself out and life starts getting back to normal, because it will happen sooner or later.
