My weekend has ended up differently than I was anticipating.
I had a couple events to cover yesterday and was planning on going to church today, however those didn’t happen.
I ended up waking up with a headache yesterday morning, which progressed to a fever and chills as the day went on. I did escape the house for a few minutes, not realizing how downhill I was sliding, but ended up having a couple of dizzy spells in short order so returned home.
I’m feeling a bit better today, and the fever is pretty much gone, though the headache and the chills remain. Gotta love flu season.
I have a couple things to cover on Monday and Tuesday, however I’m going to see how I’m feeling, and not push anything. If I miss covering a couple things, it’ll be unfortunate, but it’s not worth the risk to my health, or the risk of passing on whatever this is to anyone else.
Looking at the percentages, I highly doubt it is the Cover-19 Virus that is racing around the world right now, though estimates say that 50 to 90 per cent of the population are expected to get it. Still, it’ll either happen, or it won’t. One thing I am happy about is that I am living in rural Alberta, which will definitely slow the spread of the virus out here.
I’m already feeling much better than I was 24 hours ago, but who knows how things will change in the next 24 to 48 hours.
