I was a home-body today, and I loved every minute of it.
I spent some time playing Red Dead 2, cleaned up both of my cameras, and actually dug into the instruction manual on my primary camera to check out some different settings. I’ve loved the photography, and have already learned a lot, but there is always more to learn.
It turns out that the camera has way more capabilities than I knew about, and it was awesome figuring out some tricks that I will definitely be able to use in the future.
Aside from the camera study and maintenance, I also cleaned up the kitchen, worked on my presentation for the Mental Health Commission of Canada, and did a couple hours of text book work. I have got the reading done for just about all of the first three lessons in preparation for my course going live tomorrow.
I know that I’m not going to be able to study the way I am everyday, but I am glad that I’m establishing the study habits that I am for this under-taking.
I did take today as an off day from my workout regime, but I’m going to be back at it tomorrow with some cardio and weights.
Work-wise things are still in the in-between summer and fall, and aside from a couple appointments this week my schedule is pretty light, which will be good for maintaining the fitness and the studying.
I’ve slowly settled back into my 7:30 wake up routine, and aside from getting tired out earlier in the evening, much to Lynn’s chagrin, I’m tolerating it pretty well, and the dogs seem to be happy that one of their humans are up earlier.
For tomorrow, aside from church, where I’m running sound again, and my workout, I have nothing really planned. As much as I’ve been enjoying the downtime I am looking forward to getting back into the regular rhythm of fall events.
