The animals definitely know how to try my patience…

The animals are lucky they are cute, because I was ready to wring three of their necks last night. They were all being obnoxious turds as well, except for Taffy. She slept.

Between Sirius barking his fool head off, Rolo attempting to push me off the bed, and Willow turning my CPAP machine off multiple times I was ready to spit fire this morning when I finally got out of bed.

To further complicate matters, I had a gentleman come over to do up a quote for building a fence for us, and the three monsters barked incessantly from the time he got there to the time he left. Suffice it to say, I’ve been in better moods.

We’re in the process of getting a fence priced for our yard. While we just had Sirius we were able to make do with having him in the back yard on a chain, but now that we have the three we definitely need to do something else.

When we moved to our home, we did look into getting a fence built, but at the time it seemed cost prohibitive due to the size of the yard. After getting the quote this morning, it’s unsurprising to see that things have not gone down in price any. Ouch.

Otherwise today is proving to be a steady day. I’m working in the bookstore, took pictures at the hazardous waste roundup in town, going to take some pictures of a ball tournament later as long as the weather holds off, and have some other writing to do. All with the challenge of working through the fog thanks to my messed up sleep. I’m definitely thinking tonight is going to be an early one.
