The end is in sight as far as my current crop of work projects go. It’s been a good, busy, but good couple of weeks, but I am definitely looking forward to things slowing down a bit.
I have four or five projects currently on the go which I should have wrapped up by the end of tomorrow. I’ve also been attempting to get back into doing some reading myself.
I’ve been working on reading a Jack Reacher book called “A wanted man.” It’s been good, but slow, for a Reacher novel. I already have my next couple of books picked out though. I’m looking at reading a couple of Michael Connelly’s books, one of his new ones, called “two kinds of truth,” as well as one of his older ones called “The Scarecrow.”
I’ve also logged back into my own story that I’ve been working on for a couple years now. I’ve been reading and editing some of my earlier chapters, and thinking about the viability of picking the story up again after sitting in limbo for so long. The Story does have some good bones so I think I’m going to finish doing some early edits on it then pick up the story again. My goal will be to have it finished with a year. Considering it’s already been a couple, I don’t think that timeline is unreasonable.
I enjoy doing the writing, but with no pressure on me to get it done, it’s just always been put off, and I would quite honestly like to get it finished so I can move on to another project.
My kinesiology appointment went well. I’m set up with some new exercises to work on for the next six weeks, with the goal of reassessing and increasing the load then.
Otherwise, it’s been a good day. It was an early day, and I’m starting to get tired, but a good day none the less.
Thanks for following along.
