Today has been busy. I’m not complaining.

I was up and out the door early to cover the board meeting for our school division. That finished up a lot earlier than expected, so I wandered through Stettler for a bit, and when I got home I ended up babysitting a minion for an hour while her mom worked. It was kind of fun, even though all we ended up doing was watching old Looney Toons cartoons on DVD.

After minion got picked up, I did some research on a story I’m doing, and transferred all my files over to a new laptop. I finally broke down and bought a new one, so I am good to go with my writing for at least another year or two. It’s nothing special, just a Walmart mid-range model, but it is way above what I was using before.

After making supper for L, I’m back finishing off some of the set-up on the new machine. I’m starting to buck a head cold so tonight is going to be early to bed, and I am thankful that tomorrow is a day where I am close to home, and can have a chance to get some stuff completed around the house as well as some work projects.

I’ve been finding myself pushing my limits again, with everything I have been covering, so I think this cold is mother nature’s way of telling me to slow down.
