Life is a pendulum
Don't you see?
You swing through life
like a monkey through a tree

Up and down
a person swings
from young to old
you shall swing

Through happiness,
and sadness, 
and back again
the swing shall be

You cannot get through life without a swing,
Up and down
the waves will assault you
until you think you'll drown

Keep your head above water they say,
you must hang on for life
You shall see,
because after the storm 
the sun you'll see

Life is a pendulum,
This I see,
Life is a storm of varying degree,
but at the end of it the sun you see.
